La serie da comienzo con ella, una joven madre, huyendo a través del bosque junto su hijastra Julia mientras su esposo, corre tras ellas rifle en mano. ¿Qué habrá ocurrido? Es el año 1958. Jesús, el heredero de Perfumerías de la Reina, es un hombre controlador, celoso, ambicioso y sin escrúpulos. Todo empeorará con la llegada de Andrés, su hermano, que regresa para ayudar y proteger a su padre, Damián, tras tener la sospecha de que su ambicioso hermano haría lo que fuera para hacerse con el control de la empresa.
