Adaptación de la exitosa serie israelí Kvodo. Es el segundo aniversario de la muerte de Sonia, la mujer del juez Daniel Romero, y Álex, el hijo de ambos, va a llevar flores al lugar en el que murió. El chico tiene un accidente de coche y atropella a un motorista. Álex, asmático, entra en pánico y se da a la fuga, dejando abandonado el cuerpo sin vida del joven. Cuando le confiesa lo ocurrido a su padre, el primer impulso del Juez Romero es llevarle a comisaría, que confiese, hacer lo correcto. No es una decisión fácil, pero todo cambia cuando descubre que la víctima es Hugo Aguilar, el hijo pequeño de Vicente Aguilar, uno de los mafiosos más peligrosos de Cádiz. Romero toma conciencia entonces de que, entregándose, Álex firmaría su sentencia de muerte y decide encubrir el crimen, negando sus ideales y comenzando un descenso a los infiernos con tal de salvar a su hijo.
