Mini-serie basada en el cuento “De los Apeninos a los Andes”, de Edmundo de Amicis. Marco es un niño de 12 años de edad, que vive en un pueblo de montaña. Su madre se ve obligada a emigrar para poder mantener a Marco y a su hermano Lucas. La vida de ambos da un vuelco cuando, repentinamente, dejan de tener noticias de ella. Marco decide entonces emprender un largo viaje junto a su hermano en búsqueda de su madre. Juntos recorrerán pueblos y ciudades, atravesarán el océano y vivirán numerosos contratiempos. Nada les detendrá en su objetivo: reencontrarse con su madre.

Mini-series based on the novel “From the Apennines to the Andes” written by Edmundo de Amicis. Marco is a 12-years old kid who lives in a village in the mountains. His mother is forced to emigrate in order to feed him and his brother Lucas. The life of these children will change overnight when suddenly, they stop hearing from her. Marco decides to embark on a long journey with his brother, determined to find their mother. Together they will travel and discover small villages and big cities, crossing the ocean, and facing innumerable drawbacks along the way. Yet, nothing will stop them from achieving their goal: reuniting with mom.
