Más de treinta años después del boom que supusieron sus películas, este documental aborda, con una mirada crítica y diferentes voces, aquella revolución social y cultural que se convertiría en un fenómeno de masas comparable a los actuales influencers. 'Pajares y CIA' recoge el testimonio de más de 30 personajes que trasladan esta historia desde multitud de puntos de vista. Actores de distintas generaciones construyen el relato, siendo protagonistas directos de esta historia. Empezando por el propio Pajares, junto a su inseparable compañero, Fernando Esteso, y nombres como Carmen Maura, Antonio Resines, Concha Velasco, José Sacristán, Javier Gutiérrez, Javier Cámara, María Barranco, Millán Salcedo, Arévalo y Emma Ozores, entre otros. Al testimonio de actores, 'Pajares y CIA' suma el punto de vista de personalidades de diferentes sectores como el cine, el periodismo cultural, la televisión o internet. Directores de cine como David Trueba y Fernando Colomo, periodistas como Rosa Villacastín, Pepa Blanes o Mábel Galaz, presentadores como Jaime Cantizano, youtubers como la cómica Carolina Iglesias, fotógrafos como Enric Bayón, productores como Bermúdez de Castro, entre otras voces especialistas junto a otros compañeros y amigos de Pajares, como el periodista Moisés Rodríguez, analizan esta historia con una mirada desde la actualidad que no se había ofrecido antes.

Starting with Pajares himself, along with his inseparable partner, Fernando Esteso, and names like Carmen Maura, Antonio Resines, Concha Velasco, José Sacristán, Javier Gutiérrez, Javier Cámara, María Barranco, Millán Salcedo, Arévalo and Emma Ozores, among others. In addition to the testimony of actors, 'Pajares y CIA' adds the point of view of personalities from different sectors such as cinema, cultural journalism, television or Internet.
