La Unidad Central de Ciberdelincuencia (UCC) de Policía Nacional es la encargada de investigar y resolver un tipo de delitos que no paran de crecer. En un mundo cada vez más conectado con Internet, estos policías son cada vez más indispensables que nunca en su misión de capturar a los ciberdelincuentes. ‘La Red’ explora casos reales de ciberdelitos a través de las investigaciones de estos agentes, quienes sirven como hilo conductor, revelando los procesos de investigación, así como el impacto personal y familiar de su trabajo. Cada episodio muestra las distintas tipologías de delitos digitales y las técnicas empleadas para su detección, como el ‘ciberpatrullaje’. Además, la serie contará con la participación de periodistas especializados, quienes ofrecerán sus perspectivas sobre los casos, y las voces de las víctimas, que compartirán sus experiencias y temores al ser afectados por estos crímenes. A través de imágenes de archivo y recreaciones, ‘La Red’ ofrece una visión profunda de cómo se combate la ciberdelincuencia, abarcando tres investigaciones en cada capítulo: un caso principal y dos secundarios.

The Central Cybercrime Unit (UCC) of the Spanish Police is responsible for investigating and solving a type of crime that continues to grow. In a world increasingly connected to the Internet, these officers are more indispensable than ever in their mission to catch cybercriminals. The docuseries explores real cases of cybercrimes through the investigations of these agents, who serve as the narrative thread, revealing the investigative processes as well as the personal and family impact of their work. Each episode showcases different types of digital crimes and the techniques used to detect them, such as ‘cyber-patroling.’ Additionally, the series will feature specialized journalists who will offer their perspectives on the cases, and the voices of the victims, who will share their experiences and fears of being affected by these crimes. Through archival footage and reenactments, the docuseries provides a profound insight into the fight against cybercrime, covering three investigations per episode: one main case and two secondary cases.
